    Hi, I’m Renisher Roberts, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of New York.  I help my clients bring about change in their lives and relationships.

    I help individuals like you, who are suffering from Anxiety and Depression, live a better, healthier life, while reducing the symptoms of worry and stress.  I work with Couples like yourself, who are tired of walking around on eggshells at home, longing for what you once had with your partner.

    I’m a seasoned therapist with years of experience working with Couples dealing with relationship issues and Individuals who are suffering from challenging mood symptoms.     My Education & Experience

    I am an alumnus of Brooklyn College, class of 2009. I earned my Master’s of Arts  degree in Mental Health Counseling, and my Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology from York College in 2001.  I believe that learning never ends and have obtained Continuing Education certificates in other areas of interest, including Domestic Violence, Life Coaching, and Couples Counseling.

    My approach to therapy is a holistic one, where the total person is considered.  Since one size does not fit all, just know that your treatment plan will be custom tailored to fit your personal goals.  Some of the scientific modalities that I incorporate to achieve success with my clients are, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment Theory, and Mindfulness methods.

    I know how difficult it is to find the perfect fit with the right therapist, that you can trust and build a relationship with.  Please know that my therapeutic space is set in a non biased, and non judgmental environment.  Therapy is about you and you will be supported in a calm, warm and friendly space.  Let’s go on this journey and tackle your most challenging issues together.
