Love is in the Air
“We are most alive when we’re in love” John Updike
It’s Valentine’s Day and the signs of love are everywhere. Pink and red hearts dangle from just about every ceiling you see. It’s the one day of the year, that you can wear love literally on your arm. From the very beginning of time love has always been the most important emotion. Love is powerful, it makes one do all sorts of crazy things, including lying, stealing and even taking another’s life. Love is magical, it’s difficult to explain, but when you are in love you know it automatically. The feeling is quite undeniable. No matter where you are on the planet, someone is always looking and searching for love.
For the couple who is already in love, this holiday just brings about yet another day to celebrate what they already know and have. For those who are struggling to find love or fall back into love, this season maybe a bit more stressful and difficult to bare. A client once said to me, love is the most happiest feeling that they have ever experienced in this life. It really doesn’t matter what you have; if you don’t have love in your life, you are missing out on a whole lot.
It’s the most amazing feeling in the world, but it can always be the most devastating one as well. If you are trying to find love, please keep on trying, your love could be just around the next corner. If you are trying to fall back into love again, also keep on trying, your hard work should pay off, as long as your other half is trying as hard as you are as well. If you already have love, please continue to hold unto it; there is nothing more devastating than losing a true love. Do whatever is necessary to keep it. It’s a very rare and precious treasure that you have.
Wherever you fall on the love spectrum, hang in there., but don’t stay there for too long, you have to keep moving. Since the word love can be used as an action word as well, you will have to do something. Whether you plan on continuing your search for love, fixing the love you already have, or maintaining your current love, you will have to do some type of action to have, keep and hold on to it Like the popular saying, love triumphs all.
